OUR SPEAKERS
-
In April of 2010 Michael and his wife, Lorisa, started a small prayer meeting in an office space overlooking downtown Dallas that came to be known as UPPERROOM. From that initial prayer meeting, God birthed a movement of prayer and worship that continues to grow globally. Many lives have been impacted by UPPERROOM’s house of prayer, as people online and from all over the DFW metroplex come together to pray and worship every morning, noon and night.
-
Lorisa Miller, along with her husband, Michael, are the founders and lead pastors of Upperroom (UR) Dallas. Thousands have been impacted globally by the invitation to worship and pray morning, noon, and night. The Millers are passionate about building a place where the presence of God can rest and equipping people in the same. Together they have 4 beautiful children and reside in the greater Dallas area.
-
Rolland and Heidi Baker, founders of Iris Ministries, served as missionaries in Indonesia and Hong Kong before following God’s calling in 1995 to Mozambique. Having faced overwhelming need, the Baker now watch God provide miraculously for almost 2,000 children at their centers. Iris Ministries has expanded to more than 5,000 churches all over Mozambique and neighboring countries. The Bakers are the authors of Almost Enough and Expecting Miracles.
-
Steffany’s heart is to minister to the Lord first, giving Him joy and adoration. The priestly anointing on her life has called her to raise up a generation of relentless, unrestrained Levites who burn with holiness and purity for Jesus.
-
Ryan and his wife, Karen, have been part of the prayer movement for nearly 15 years—drawn to the idea of creating spacing for daily intimacy with Jesus through rhythms of prayer and worship. They moved from California to Tennessee 9 years ago to help build one of these places in downtown Franklin. The Franklin Prayer House is a diverse community of worshippers from different church backgrounds, blending contemporary, Spirit-led worship with ancient contemplative rhythms.
